Crispy Honey Brussel Sprouts

We love crispy baked brussel sprouts. Its the easiest and fastest way I know how to make this awesome, healthy side dish. With a prep time of roughly 5 minutes, I can get it prepped and in the oven to cook while I can focus on other things.


What you will need:

-Baking dish or Cast Iron Skillet (my preference)



- 1 lb of fresh Brussel sprouts

- 1/2 stick of salted butter

- Fresh Local Honey (for the best benefits)

- Olive Oil or preferred (we use sesame seed or sunflower oil)

- 1 teaspoon paprika

- Salt 

- 1/4 red pepper flakes



- Pre-heat oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit

- Slice the Brussels in half and give them a good wash

- Add the Brussel sprouts to your baking dish or seasoned cast iron

- Drizzle oil across top of Brussel sprouts to your liking, I use about 3 tablespoons worth

- Sprinkle on top all of your dry ingredients, salt to preference. Add more red pepper flakes for a spicier dish.

- Slice butter and place pieces on top through out your dish

- Bake for 15 - 20 minutes

- When the Brussel sprouts are almost done, drizzle honey to your liking over top the entire dish. Place back into oven for another 5 minutes and then remove.

- Allow to cool and enjoy!!
