Honey Baked Pork Chops

The main course is always the highlight. It's essential to create a delicious, mouthwatering centerpiece for your meal. This recipe for Honey Baked Pork Chops is bursting with flavor.

What you will need:

- Baking Dish or Cast Iron Skillet (my preference)

- Small mixing bowl

Ingredients:

- 2 to 4 pork chops

- 3 tablespoons of sesame seed oil or preferred

- 3 tablespoons fresh local honey

- 1/4 cup soy sauce

- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

- 1/4 teaspoon ginger

- black pepper

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

- 1/8 to 1/4 cup water

- small diced onion (Vidalia is our preference)

Directions:

- Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit

- In your skillet, add oil to bottom of pan and then sear you pork chops on medium heat on both sides. Ideally, creating a warm golden color.

- In a small mixing bowl add oil, honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire, ginger, pepper, garlic salt, water, and diced onion. Mix well.

- Pour your mixture over top your pork chops.

- If you are using a cast iron skillet place the pork chops and mixture in oven. If you are using another type of skillet, transfer the pork chops and mixture into your baking dish and then place into oven.

- Bake for 30 - 40 minutes flipping the pork chops roughly halfway.

- Allow to cool and serve. Enjoy!
