Brown Sugar Honey BBQ Sauce

Brown Sugar Honey BBQ Sauce

A good BBQ sauce is a must and I have been working to find a homemade sauce that I like. Everyone has a different level of tart to sweet, spicy to cool. This is a sauce I have made twice now and used as a dip for my BBQ Quesadillas. I adore a bbq that has a good tang with undertones of sweet and I think this is just that.

What you will need:

- Medium pot

- 1 cup ketchup

- 1/2 cup fresh local honey

- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

- 2 tablespoons brown sugar

- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

- Combine all ingredients in a medium pot.

- Bring to a boil over medium heat

- Once at a boil, reduce heat to simmer. Stir frequently.

- Allow to simmer for 10 minutes, then let it cool and enjoy.
